Chemistry
Instructors: Richard Deng and Cindy Wei

description
This class serves as an introduction to chemistry by giving a brief overview of the topics covered in a first-year honors chemistry course and through real demonstrations. This class is targeted toward students entering grades 7 through 10, but students of all ages can follow along. There are no required prerequisites, but it helps to have an understanding of basic algebra.

Biology (Intro)
Instructor: Abbie Deng

Introduction to Biology is a 6/7-week course that covers topics ranging from characteristics of life to molecules of life. Each class following the first will begin with a Kahoot on the previous week’s topics to review, and the course may culminate in a final project (either written or in the form of a slides presentation).

​Physics

This class will be a grand tour of physics from the very small to the very large. We begin with the study of atoms and subatomic particles, and will continue through heat, motion, electromagnetism, astronomy, and cosmology.

This class meets on Thursdays at 3 PM.

​Psychology
Instructors: Cindy Wei and Brynner Eang

DESCRIPTION
This class is for anyone who finds psychology interesting! Learn about social experiments, the parts of the brain,  and design your own experiment!  Recommended age is middle school, but students of any age are encouraged to give it a try.

Computer Science (Python)
Instructor: Michael Voigt

DESCRIPTION
This class serves as an introduction to python by giving a brief overview of the fundamentals needed to perform beginner tasks in the language. Students are expected to download python on their device here (https://www.python.org/downloads/) prior to the first lesson.

Neuroscience
Instructor: Tanush Paradeshi

Description
This class will give an introduction to neuroscience for beginners by delving into the BrainFacts book and more advanced content. This class will focus upon neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, disease, changes through aging, histology as well as neuroscience-related technologies. Each class will cover 1-3 chapters of the BrainFacts book and other related advanced concepts.​

Algorithms
​Instructor: Austin Liu

DESCRIPTION
Students will learn how to solve programming problems through Leetcode. Anyone with experience in any language can join because the class will focus on the thought process and not syntax.

​Machine Learning
Instructors: Dmitry Ivkov and Joshua Lee

DESCRIPTioN
​Learn how to code machine-learning/AI with the sklearn library and how to apply that code for data science.
- Classes will cover Pandas-lib, Analyzing data, cleaning data (w/ sklearn), applying a predictor, in-depth on how predictors work & programming your own.
*Python knowledge is strongly recommended​

Biology (AP)
Instructors: Sophia Liu and Heidi Zhang

DESCRIPTION
From macromolecules to ecology, this class is an introduction to some of the topics you’ll cover in AP Biology! Taught by previous AP Biology students, this class will also give you inside knowledge on the course! This class is geared towards rising juniors who are taking AP Bio in the fall, but high school students are welcome to join, as well as younger students who have taken/are taking Intro to Bio.
