This 2 week introductory Model United Nations course will cover the fundamentals of MUN. From learning parliamentary procedure to speech making to problem solving, students will ultimately develop skills that will allow them to be a successful delegate in Model UN and in everyday life. Over the 2 week course, students will first grasp an understanding of general conference procedure as well as public speaking. From there, the class will simulate a conference-- including all the steps of research, committee in session, and solution making. By the end of this course, students will be proficient in the necessary aspects of MUN which permits them to thrive.
