In this class, we will give an introduction to Model United Nations, a popular academic activity in high schools and colleges worldwide. Model UN is made up of several components, with public speaking, debate, writing, and research at the forefront. In this course, students will gain understanding of how Model UN works, as well as build leadership skills.

This class will be held over Zoom. Each class will focus on different topics, teaching students how to effectively compete in Model UN. Please email an instructor to get a copy of the slideshow from any week if needed. This course is most effective for students entering 5th grade and up.

A working microphone and camera will be required for this class.  If students are fully engaged, not only will they benefit more from the curriculum, they will also enable instructors to better curate curriculum.
