Lawrence is an upcoming 8th grader at the Chenery Middle School. He has been playing chess since he was 5, and is currently ranked as one of the top players for his age in Massachusetts. He was also part of the team that won the State Championship and has won many other awards since. Besides chess, Lawrence enjoys reading, math, and playing soccer. He hopes he can lead others to experience the joy of playing chess.
