Jason Tang Founder and President Math and Chess Instructor
Jason is a graduate of Belmont High School and a rising freshman at Harvard College. In March of 2020, he created Belmont Free Lessons to inspire students' interest in learning. He has taught several classes in math and chess, and led the organization as president.
In high school, Jason conducted mathematical research in the MIT PRIMES program, co-authoring a paper that has been submitted for publication and won the USA Bronze medal at the S. T. Yau Science Award. He has also been involved in competition math extensively, qualifying for and competing in the USA Math Olympiads multiple times among other national and state competitions.
