Course Description: This 8-week course provides a foundational overview of both microeconomics and macroeconomics. During the first five weeks, students cover microeconomic principles, including scarcity, opportunity cost, the mechanics of supply and demand, price elasticity, and market failures. The final three weeks introduce macroeconomic concepts such as GDP, inflation, the banking system, and international trade. Each 60-minute session is structured to include a lesson on core concepts, a practical application activity (such as analyzing a real-world shortage or interpreting economic charts), and time for review and discussion.
