Alexander attended Belmont public schools from K-6 and is a rising 8th grader at the Noble and Greenough School. He is a USCF Expert level player, co-champion of the 2017 Spiegel Cup State Championship for Age 8 & Under, the 16th place for the 2018 National Grade Championship, and the 3rd place for the 2020 Spiegel Cup State Championship for Age 11 & Under. In 2020, Alexander represented the state of Massachusetts competing in the John D. Rockefeller III National Tournament of Elementary School State Champions and won 5th place. In addition to playing chess, Alexander likes reading, math, science, and soccer. Alexander looks forward to sharing the fun of chess playing with others.
