Sophia is a rising senior this year. She has been drawing for 8 years and started entering competitions in 7th grade, winning 3 consecutive gold keys and multiple silver and honorable mentions in the art and scholastic competitions since. She was a finalist in the science without borders art competitions and placed third in the state congressional art competition this year. She also has 3 years of art commission experience under her belt. Some hobbies Sophia enjoys outside of art are volleyball and photography. She’s excited to teach the Art course this summer at BFL!
