Richard Deng is a junior at Belmont High School. Since moving to Belmont in 2019, he achieved Distinguished Honor Roll on the AMC and qualified for AIME three times, along with coaching the Chenery Middle School math team since 2021 and founding Belmont Math Hunt in 2022. In addition to math, Richard enjoys studying science, qualifying for the US National Chemistry Olympiad and competing with the BHS Science Team which achieved third place statewide last year. Having taught with BFL since 2020 and serving on the management team since 2021, Richard is elated to share the invigorating experience of problem-solving with the community!
