Andrew Gao is a rising sophomore at Belmont High School and captain of the Quizbowl club there—join quizbowl! School and quizbowl have led him to enjoy learning lots of facts/random knowledge in areas such as literature, math, geography, history, and science. He is especially passionate about math and became interested in computer science over quarantine after creating a spreadsheet leaderboard to track family board game results. When he is not focused on school or academics, Andrew likes traveling and seeing the world, going on walks, and cooking (without burning anything down). Andrew is excited to teach lessons for BFL and work with younger peers!
